"Quench"Named for the insatiable thirst I have to paint, I'm happy to have an outlet | "Best Friend Montage"This Mixed Media piece encompasses the lives of my best friend and I as we live in Chicago. Included are parking tickets, poems, and other bits of ourselves to create this abstract beauty | "The Butterfly's Dreamcatcher"Using Brave Intuitive Painting, an image of a butterfly and a dreamcatcher appeared. One of my favorite pieces of all time. | "Country Training"My three sisters and I grew up on this gravel road where we would race our dad in his old beat up pick up truck to see how fast we could get going. Painting this memory seemed like the only thing that made sense to me, I have to remember it forever. |

"Selcouth Angel"Utilizing Brave Intuitive painting I created this angel. I marked this painting with my favorite word, Selcouth, because I think she embodies the definition of the word- rare, unfamiliar, strange, yet marvelous. | Shades and 'Stache #1I have a full series of these sunglasses and mustache paintings. They're nothing too special, but put together them make a nice collection! | "Farm Impressionism"This John Deere/ Farm Scene was painted for my father and it was meant to embody realism (my favorite) as well as just a touch of French Impressionism (his favorite) | "Self Portrait"The product of an end-of-semester project for my Professor, I painted myself as a well put together person in the light, but falling apart in the dark. Though it turned out dark, I am pleased with the accuracy of it all. |

"Watchful Cardinal"Painted for my mother when her brother passed away, his body may be gone but he remains watchful through the eyes of his favorite bird. | "Sure."A flippant painting with phrases of apathy. | "Faith, Family, Farming"This is a copy - cat painting of a sign I saw in Walmart for my mom. I thought that an original painting meant more than a store bought item, and I was able to add a bit of my own flare | "For Leon"This painting was commissioned by my aunt for her husband, my uncle. It was intended to be a Christmas present for him. Unfortunately, he passed away before he could receive this gift. This painting depicts him and his wife fourwheeling up north with my grandparents near the cabin they had rented for a memorable weekend. His name is painted in the flowers. We love and miss you, Uncle Lee-Lee. |
